Zongzi (sticky rice dumpling) is a traditional dish enjoyed during the Dragon Boat Festival. Made of glutinous rice stuffed with various fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves, zongzi has a distinctive aroma and flavor!

Northern-style zongzi: the ingredients are first stir-fried before being wrapped in bamboo leaves and steamed. This initial stir-frying step enhances the flavors and creates a more chewy texture, making northern-style zongzi rich and savory.

Glutinous rice, shiitake mushroom, peanuts, taro, hand-peeled chestnuts, crispy fried shallots



Steam it in a steamer for 30 minutes. Alternatively, defrost it in the refrigerator for at least half a day, then steam for 15 minutes. Remove the bamboo leaves and enjoy!
